WRIGHT, RAYMOND LEE, 65, of Louisville, passed away Monday, December 27, 2010.

Raymond is a member of St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church. He was a retired meat cutter for A&P for 20 years and a retired inspector for the USDA.

He was a U. S. Army veteran who proudly served in the Vietnam War with the 11th Armored Calvary, K-Troop (66-67). He received the purple heart cluster, bronze and silver stars. He was a lifetime member of the 11th A.C.V.V.C., a life member of the NRA and a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the P.R.P. Fire Dept.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Mary Ann (Myers) Wright; a son, Michael Ray Wright; mother, Maxine Frances Wright; five sisters, Sharron A. Singleton, Linda Corley, Anita Stolarick (Larry), Carla Schroeder (Robert) and Jean Brown (Frank); brother, Donald Joseph Wright (Sharon).

His funeral Mass will be 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church, 1104 S. Sixth Street with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY. Visitation will be 18 p.m. Sunday at the Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
