Here Quinlan looks to see if any use can be made of this burned out hulk.

On a night march to desperately arrive on time to cordon off a VC village, the trailer hitch broke and the trailer had to be abandoned.  We found it four days later.  The mess trailer - after the VC got it. We lost everything.
