I am a Mco trooper looking for an old friend. Don't remember his name only the good
times. I met him while guarding an airbase in Jan 69. He was in K troop, a young mexican
from calif. I heard during a firefight his sixty blew up and burned his hands. He was sent

Hi Bob, Been a while since we've talked. I wanted to let you know that my friend Sgt
Kenny Orton ( last story in my book) passed on the 17th of July. Services will be held on
the 5th of Aug. in Santa Rosa,Ca. Col. Davis is sending 10 Blackhorse troopers to help
with the services. Got a call from the Command Sgt. Major last night and he informed me
that the Regiment and the troopers of the Blackhorse will never forget it's own. I'll be
on hand in Santa Rosa to tell our young troopers that we ,the Vietnam Vets will not forget
