Dear Mom & Dad,
Greetings once again from Vietnam. This will be just a short note as I would like
to get in the pool. Yep, you guessed it, we are back at Long Binh. We will be
here for two weeks and then back to Blackhorse. All we are doing here is pulling
road security. Our job is to keep the roads open. It's an easy job. We
are only cooking two meals a day so we have plenty of leisure time.
Last night I went to the movies and saw "Murder's Row" with Dean Martin.
I have seen it before but I didn't care. Things are going well for me.
I'm getting plenty to eat and lots of sleep. I played baseball this afternoon for
the first time in about four years.
Well, I wanted to drop you a line tonight for I haven't written for a couple of days.
As of yet I haven't received your package. It should come any day now.
Well, that water's waiting. I will write a longer letter tomorrow.
