Dear Mom & Dad,
Greetings once again from Vietnam. It's getting dark fast so this might be a
short letter. I received your $50 check yesterday. Thanks. Now I would
like $300 as I wrote and told you in my last letter. I start my R&R the 18th of
next month. If it's not too late, do not insure the package I asked for as I might
not get it in time. Also, enclose a few blank audio tapes and some civilian socks.
Other than that, I don't need anything else.
Well, it's getting too dark to continue. I will write a longer letter tomorrow.
